Taxonomic Revision of Endemic Species of the Genus Semenovia (Umbelliferae-Apioideae) Distributed in Northern Pamir-Alay Based on Analysis of Morphological and Molecular Data

Based on the results of morphological-anatomical and molecular-phylogenetic data analysis, taxonomic revision of critical endemic species of Semenovia genus in the Northern Pamir-Alay (S. alaica, S. vaginata и S. zaprjagaevii) has been performed. According to the received results, a conspect of Semenovia species for this region is  elaborated, key for their determination has been created and diagnostic characters  have been specified. The complex approach to investigation of critical species has allowed carrying out their diagnostics and clarifying distribution of endemic species S. vaginata and S. alaica. The performed analysis of morphological characteristics along with molecular data has permitted us to relate Seseli tragioides to synonyms of Semenovia bucharica.
