A Note about Lotus zhegulensis Klokov (Fabaceae)

As a result of our own field research in European Russia, a critical study of herbarium specimens and literary sources, it was found that the rather widespread Central and Eastern European L. zhegulensis Klokov is unreasonably included in the synonyms of the European L. corniculatus L. s. str., which on the eastern border of distribution only the northwestern regions of European Russia.
