The blade anatomy of Stipa capillata L., S. pulcherrima C.Koch, S.tirsa Stev., S. ucrainica

The differences between the low and the upper parts of the blade may depend on the grass life-form. The volume of blade sclerenchyma depends bothonthe environmental conditions and on the location of the cut. The data should be considered when using this feature for diagnostic purposes.
